Full course description
This course provides candidates with instruction and skills in designing curriculum and instruction for all students, effective assessment of teaching and learning, and maintaining effective environments for learning. Candidates will focus on developing instruction using instructional strategies that open access to the curriculum and use intervention strategies that meet the needs of all students. Candidates will learn how to use a variety of non-biased standardization techniques, instruments and processes that are functional, curriculum-referenced, performance-based, and appropriate to the diverse needs of individual students. Assessments will be examined in order to make educational and programming decisions for students.
